Locate the Furnace pilot light assembly and access panel for inspection
Check if the Furnace pilot flame is strong blue and engulfing the thermocouple
Clean the Furnace pilot orifice with compressed air if flame is weak
Verify the Furnace thermocouple is producing adequate millivolt output
Test Furnace pilot safety system by holding down the reset button
